Frequently asked questions
Brain Health Kitchen
This course gives you a clear, structured way to understand how everyday choices, especially food and lifestyle, protect your brain over time. Rather than overwhelming you with rules or rigid plans, it walks you through the science in a way that's practical and accessible, so you can make confident decisions that actually stick.
Yes. While no program can guarantee specific outcomes, this course focuses on what's within your control, giving you practical, evidence-based steps to support long-term brain health.
You'll learn how to talk to your doctor, what questions to ask, how to interpret test results, and how to make meaningful changes in your daily life.
The course is grounded in current research on brain health, metabolism, nutrition, and lifestyle, translated into clear, practical guidance by Dr. Annie Fenn, a physician who has spent decades studying and teaching this material.
You'll learn how to interpret common topics like cholesterol, blood sugar, and hormonal health without fear or confusion, so you can make informed decisions in your own life.
Yes. You can join on the monthly plan or the Full Program at any time. The course is self-paced, and you do not need to start with Foundation 1. Begin with any foundation and revisit earlier ones whenever you want.
Think of it less like a course you race through and more like a guided journey with a natural, built-in pace.
A new foundation is released approximately every 6–8 weeks throughout the year. This pace is intentional — it gives you time to learn, apply, and absorb each foundation before moving to the next. Each release is also timed to a live Q&A with Dr. Fenn, so you can ask questions about exactly what you've just learned.
Each foundation is a complete, standalone learning experience, so you can focus on the topic that matters most to you. You do not need to start with Foundation 1. Begin with whichever foundation interests you, and because your plan includes the full course, you can go deeper or revisit earlier foundations whenever you want.
The monthly plan gives you full access to the entire course for as long as you are subscribed, and you can cancel anytime. The Full Program gives you access across the whole year as each foundation is released, with the option to renew at a discounted rate for continued access, ongoing updates, and future live Q&As.
No. This course is a separate experience from Annie’s Substack.
One key difference: the course is where the newest research lands first. When important new studies come out, we fold them into the course lessons right away, often before they reach the newsletter. Course members get the most current science as part of their structured learning, not scattered across posts.
While the Substack shares ongoing insights, recipes, and research, The Brain Health Kitchen course is a structured, step-by-step program with organized lessons that build on each other, practical tools and worksheets, and a complete system you can return to over time.
Inside the course, you’ll find:
A clear progression through the material
Organized lessons that build on each other
Practical tools, worksheets, and frameworks
A complete system you can return to over time
Many people choose to use both—the Substack for ongoing inspiration, and the course for a deeper, updated and more guided learning experience to take action in their own life.
You can join on the monthly plan for $89 per month, with full access to the entire course and the freedom to cancel anytime. Or join the Full Program for the year at $799, which saves over $250 compared to paying monthly and includes all seven foundations as they launch, the live Q&As with Dr. Fenn, every recording, the tools, and community access. If cost is a barrier this year, you can also apply for a scholarship. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
